Thinning the headstock
Some very good builders just stick it in the drum sander to get it to the proper thickness.
There is something incredibly satisfying about a sharp blade cutting through wood.
ReplyDeleteYup, and this Spanish cedar really is on my side. Straight grain, evenly curled and très photogenic shavings.
