Mock-up fitting
The cherry reso is moving forward, I'm really pleased with the neck.
The cedar top soprano is bound. I won't say the binding is everything I hoped it would be. But other than that I think it has great potential.
I had a National steel-bodied reso for a while. I found it a trifle too jangly sounding (and way too heavy) but have given a lot of thought to a wood bodied one somewhere down the road.
the binding on the other soprano looks good to me.
do post a sound sample when the reso is done.

I can't quit looking at this. And your work desk is a dump.
ReplyDeleteThese are really fantastic. A friend of mine has a resonator and it's very cool.
ReplyDeleteAnd remember, clutter = genius.

ReplyDeleteRe Brian's comment. Dump? No.
