completely flat back. But I've decided an arch would be better. No
dome though, a smaller curve lengthwise will suffice.
But I am being harassed by the customers! They write snide remarks on
forums and nag about these toy ukuleles! I tell you, some people...

Anyone who thinks a sopranino (or piccolo, as you call 'em) is a "toy" just hasn't played one.

Thanks Hobbit! I aim for a slightly smaller uke than my Ohana sopranino, scale length will be 280 mm. The Ohana sopranino has 300 mm. Design is based on the small 1920's uke I saw last summer at Hollesley.

I can't wait to get my hands on my one. I love tiny ukes and have been suffering withdrawal since I sold Ian Emmerson my Manini Sopranino at Hollesley.
