instead. Next will be bracing.
And I have a tenor to consider... It will most likely have a one piece
spruce top, and the rest will be mahogany.

Wouldn't a hole-cutter like this (http://www.clasohlson.se/Archive/Images/Products/Hi/300795_X_2006-06-30_102007_365.jpg) do the trick instead of drilling 40 holes?
No it wouldn't, you secret agent you! But there are high grade hole cutters that would. Can't buy all tools at once though.
