Building a better world, uke by uke.
This is my building diary. I build ukuleles in my apartment workshop. I try to label the posts, so if you're interested in anything in particular you might find it by clicking the labels.
Feel free to contact me if there is anything you want to ask, or even better; tell me.
I'll sort a better pic when I get the chance. But my setup consists of a small hand drill (the thing that looks like a piece of bent wire), a wooden block under the soundboard, a scrap piece of wood (you're supposed to do this with a flat lollipop stick but I had none) and a scalpel blade jammed through the stick.
Choose the diameter, push the scalpel blade down and make some turns. Then push the blade a little deeper. Work with care and you're done in five minutes!

could you please do a post with more pictures and/or an explanation of this device?
specifically, what exactly is that handle bit and did you make this or buy it?
