Building a better world, uke by uke.
This is my building diary. I build ukuleles in my apartment workshop. I try to label the posts, so if you're interested in anything in particular you might find it by clicking the labels.
Feel free to contact me if there is anything you want to ask, or even better; tell me.

How did you find this boat? Do you know anything else about the history---owners, etc?
This is very cool.
It's been here all my life! My father traded a wonderful 1950's Zündapp motorbike for it, to replace a similar boat that was stolen. But the renovation lost momentum and the boat has been a sore spot in my dad's conscience ever since.
But 10 years ago a bloke took all the measurements and built a replica. That boat is now well looked after.
If I tell my dad about the scavenging, and he approves, there might be more to be had from it.
I'd never heard of a Zündapp before. What cool bikes!
I would just scavenge all you can. If your dad notices, you can say some guy on a Zündapp came by in the night and stole it.
Very cool. Looking forward to seeing the results. And seeing you in a couple of weeks, you boat murderer.
